Meet The Missionaries
We (Luke and Megan) met when we were placed on a team together in 2007 at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. We hit if off pretty well from the get go, became best friends, and just 2 years later in the summer of 2009, we got married! We now have a beautiful two year old daughter, Hailey, and our one year old little boy, Casey.
We are currently serving at Mount St. Mary’s University, in Emmitsburg, MD, where Luke is the Team Director, fearlessly leading our team of 5 missionaries in the pursuit of bringing many hearts and souls of college students to Christ!

I came to college wanting something beyond an education, something fulfilling. FOCUS found me and I joined a Bible Study.In Bible Study I was challenged to frequent the Sacraments and open the Word of God.Because of these challenges, I grew in deep love with Jesus Christ . That love gave me a whole new outlook on life when I saw people who did not know what true, sacrificial love meant. I saw many hurting without the fulfillment that they desired so I decided, by the sheer Grace of God, that I must go out to these hurting students and share the gospel with them even if it meant sacrifices and trials along the way. That is why I am here: Jesus Christ and His Church. I am an instrument for the Savior of the World as He walks in this mission with me.

Hi! my name is Emily! I fell in love with my Catholic faith! And now I want to share with others the amazing and beautiful relationship Jesus wants with each of us! I was away from the Church for some time while in college doing some searching in other faiths. My identity got wrapped up and lost in the things I was doing in college, especially my sport, volleyball. This left me with a longing in my heart that wasn’t being fulfilled until I was reintroduced to the graces all the sacraments have to offer. After a lot of desolation God beckoned me back to His Church and I fell in love all over again with the richness and beauty the Church offers. I long to reach out to those in need, especially women athletes who may be going through similar trials I have encountered.

TJ is a 1st year missionary from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Sports Medicine science. TJ love chips. He leads three bible studies and always brings chips. His hobbies include snowboarding, longboarding, skateboarding…anything outdoors, and of course Jesus! His passion to share the good news of the kingdom is second only to the apostles. Seriously you’ve got to meet this guy!
As a college student, I was able to grow deeper in my faith at Franciscan University of Steubenville and was blessed to be surrounded by a strong Catholic community. Through that community, God truly worked in my life and gave me remarkable friends who continually witnessed the faith to me and provided me with a solid foundation of support and encouragement. As I prepared to graduate, I felt called to provide other college students with the same opportunities I had to grow in my faith. Through FOCUS, I desire to join hundreds of my fellow missionaries in bringing the joy and truth of Jesus Christ to college students on campuses across the nation!
