In 1998 Curtis Martin saw the growing need for Christ in the college campuses, and thus FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students) was founded. FOCUS serves on over 50 campuses across the United States, seeking to answer the call of  the New Evangelization. Christ commissioned us to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you until the end of the age,” (Matt.28:19-20). This is what we are doing!

Our mission at Ball State is to help students to grow in a deep relationship with Jesus Christ and to lead others to do the same. We do this by challenging students to be the example by living out chastity, sobriety and excellence through one-on-one meetings and Bible studies. Ultimately we seek to lead the students to continue living out this mission for life and to become the saints they were made to be!
